Mechanical short-circuit indicators
The rotor indicator is a mechanical short-circuit indicator and is used to detect short-circuit currents in medium-voltage networks. The indicator is triggered by a magnetic field strength H, which is measured at response values I >> is induced. The two-color indicator of the rotatable rotor with reset pin shows the respective status of the rotor system. Here, “black” means that the indicator has not responded and “red” means that the indicator has responded.
