Mechanical short-circuit indicators

The liquid indicator is a mechanical short-circuit indicator and is used to detect short-circuit currents in medium-voltage networks.
The indicator is triggered by a magnetic field strength H, which is generated at response values I>> is induced. The liquid turns red in the event of a short circuit.
The reset takes place automatically after approx. 6 – 8 h when the red color pigments settle on the bottom of the mixing body.
