Sigma D

Error direction indicator

The Sigma D is a combined short-circuit direction and earth fault direction indicator. The current is measured via phase current sensors. The measuring voltage can be tapped via integrated voltage test systems (Wega series), via HR / LRM interfaces or probes with capacitive decoupling.
The Sigma D+ and Sigma D++ are available as universal devices for all neutral point treatments. The variants differ in the design of the earth fault wiper method.
