Navigator LED + Flag

Overhead line indicator

The Navigator LED + Flag is an overhead line indicator. The fault current indicator is visualized by a large red display in combination with LEDs
. The Navigator LED + Flag is equipped with load current monitoring. This means that it constantly monitors the level of the load current on the line and
automatically adjusts its tripping current level for a fault. The highest current value measured for at least 60 seconds sets a trip point (~4 times the load)
in memory and holds this value for 72 hours. If the load current reaches or exceeds the stored load current value at any time, a new trigger point is registered and the storage time of 72 hours starts again. If the load current does not reach or exceed the set value for 24 hours, the Navigator LED + Flag recognizes a new lower trigger point and sets it again.

As soon as a fault current exceeds the trip point, the indicator activates the red display and the red LEDs start to flash. The LEDs are reset by current, time or manually, whichever occurs first. The red indicator is reset either by time or manually, indicating both permanent and momentary faults. Reset times for LED and indicator can be selected independently to combine the advantages of a flashing indicator (better visibility) at night and a mechanical indicator.
