The Wega 1 V is a three-phase voltage test system that displays the medium-voltage states phase-selectively. The display test function built into the front allows the display to be tested in the installed and de-energized state. Shielded or unshielded cables with flat plugs or system plugs can be connected as connecting cables.

The following medium voltage states are displayed:

	Tension present	Switch-on threshold of the voltage display: 0.1 – 0.45 x Un. Installation note: The voltage signal is too low when the system is operated at nominal voltage. This is usually caused by an excessively large adjustment capacitor or by operating the switchgear at a lower nominal voltage than originally intended.
	Voltage present and integrated Repetition test passed	The current flowing through the indicator fulfills the requirements for current monitoring according to IEC 61243-5 and IEC 62271-213. Due to the continuous monitoring, a repeat test is not necessary.
	Voltage present and integrated Repetition test passed, but voltage signal too high	Installation note: Voltage signal too high. This is usually caused by an undersized balancing capacitor, an earth fault or operation of the switchgear at a higher rated voltage than originally intended.
	No voltage present	When all poles of the system are switched off, all symbols are switched off. Voltage present <0.1 x Un.

The built-in display test function on the front allows the display to be tested when installed and de-energized. Shielded or unshielded cables with compact plugs (AMP) can be connected to the fault direction indicator.
