Wega 2 V

Integrated voltage detecting system in accordance with IEC 62271-213 with LED display and remote signaling

The Wega 2 V is a three-phase voltage detecting system that displays the medium-voltage states phase-selectively. The display test function built into the front allows the display to be tested in the installed and de-energized state. Shielded or unshielded cables with flat plugs or system plugs can be connected as connecting cables.

Wega 2 V has the same range of functions as Wega 1 V, but also offers two independent relay contacts for remote signaling and interlocking purposes. The green and red LEDs (green: V=0 and red: V≠0) provide information about the relay switch positions.

As a completely new Vario variant, the Wega 2 V combines the functionality of the relay outputs with remote signaling. The device now contains up to 15 adjustable capacitor values, which can be set very easily phase-selectively using integrated rotary switches. Horstmann is thus launching a particularly user-friendly and quickly adjustable product onto the market.

The following medium voltage conditions are displayed:

Voltage present

Threshold values for voltage presence indication: 0.1 — 0.45 x Vnom
Installation note: The voltage signal is too low when operating the system at nominal voltage.
The cause is usually the selected adjustment capacitor which is too large or the operation of the
switchgear at a nominal voltage that is lower than originally envisaged.
Voltage present and integrated maintenance test passedThe current flowing through the display unit meets the current monitoring requirements of
IEC 61243-5 and IEC 62271-213. A maintenance test is not necessary due to the continuous monitoring.
Voltage present and integrated maintenance test passed; voltage signal, nonetheless, is too highInstallation note: Voltage signal too high. The cause is usually the selected adjustment capacitor
which is too small, an earth fault or the operation of the switchgear at a nominal voltage that is
higher than originally envisaged.
Voltage not presentWhen all poles of the system are switched off, all symbols are switched off. Voltage present <0.1 x Un.

The built-in display test function on the front allows the display to be tested when installed and de-energized. Shielded or unshielded cables with compact plugs (AMP) can be connected to the fault direction indicator.
